Dear Mr Lawson

I am emailing you to thank you for a wonderful stay at 2 Hyde Park Square. We were there for two stays in December and January of this year and it was really superb. Many many thanks must go to Shane Andrews who listened very calmly to my many requests - he was wonderful and so helpful. I was particularly worried given a bad experience we had had on another holiday ( not in London) and really wanted the accommodation to be special. He put us in wonderful rooms, everything as promised and made our stay a particularly comfortable one. Many, many thanks to him.

All your staff were very helpful , our rooms were kept clean and tidy and we have already recommended you to friends in London who stay in Oxshott and liked the apartments for visitors and to many of our friends back here in South Africa. We will most definitely be returning.

Furthermore I would appreciate if you could let me know the room numbers that we had : I think they were 41 and 42 and then 64 and 65. The latter on the 6th floor were most comfortable for our family.

My parents and I stayed at Two Hyde Park Square in August of this year and we are still telling everyone how wonderful it is there!  We were watching the video of the London holiday last night so I was inspired to send off a quick note to thank you and your marvellous staff for their hospitality.  Samuel and Victor were particularly friendly and courteous, and always went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, even things we hadn't thought of!  It truly felt like we were royalty, and the care we received at your establishment really made my Dad's first impression of London a positive one.  For that, I am eternally grateful because I wanted everything to be "perfect" for Dad, and you gave us the "10+" treatment! 

Thank you for such a memorable and comfortable stay.  We've recommended you to everyone we know who travels to England, and then some!

Dear Mr Lawson

My wife Sherry and I were very pleased with our stay at your apartments. We found your establishment over the internet. Your website represents your facility very well and there were no surprises when we arrived.
We stayed in room 60 and it was just right. It was the right size and it had the right touches, namely the kitchen, sitting area and bath facilities. Though we spent most of our time exploring London, and not in the room, we always were very happy to return after a long day of sight seeing.
Your staff are first class as well, Shane especially. Shane helped book our high tea, he recommended sights to see, and he did not allow us to waste time at tourist traps. Of course Victor is a character who also knows his stuff. We also want to thank the unsung night staff that always greeted us with a smile when they let us in the building later at night. Sherry and I felt very welcome at all times.
Our trip to the UK did set us back a few dollars, so another trip over is not likely in the near future. However, we will enthusiastically recommend your apartments to our friends and acquaintances

My family and I stayed at 2 Hyde Park Square from March 11th to March 15th 2007.  We truly had a wonderful experience there and would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a GREAT location at a affordable price!  The staff were wonderful, very helpful and always so  nice!  Victor is one of a kind and our trip was made more memorable due to his fabulous personality.  Honestly there is nothing but great memories of our time at 2 Hyde Park Square!  Hopefully I will have the opportunity to stay there again someday.

I just wanted to say that we enjoyed our stay very much at the 2 Hyde Park Apartments. We had a great location and the rooms were nice. My daughter arrived hours before we did and I can't say how thankful I am to the staff to taking such good care of her. Thanks Victor for keeping her company and offering her some tea. We have just came back from London yesterday after spending 11 wonderful nights at 2 Hyde Park Square. I wanted to let you know how wonderful the experience was111. We had rented a rooftop designer one bedroom and it was just perfect although a little small but just great.
Victor is an amazing person. So sweet and always so willing to help Thanks Victor, we will remember you.

We were delighted with our suite, it was very roomy, clean and with all the facilities we needed. We found your staff very courteous at all times, especially your concierge, ready to do anything for us, such as ordering transport to the airport etc. We would recommend 2 Hyde Park to any of our friends who may visit London

Before our trip, we came to know that rooms are pretty small in Europe. Also came to know they are costly.
Before we booked at  2HydePark, we looked at the reviews in TripAdvisor and everyone praised it. 2HydePark was the only one that didn't have a feedback that would make someone think twice before booking. We were little thoughtful. how can that be...To our surprise. it was true.
What we found at 2Hyde Park was a reasonable priced hotel with very spacious room. It was clean, well maintained and in a very nice locality...walkable distance to shops, restaurants and many more amenities needed for a tourist  like internet cafe, money changer, hop-on hop-off stop etc.
As an problem for Indian food as Bombay Palace (little pricy) was next to 2HydePark.Victor (concierge) was great! Special praise for him. Others at the reception counter were not that cheerful...however Victor compensated for that. The thing we missed (as a tourist from US) - Microwave. Oh Boy! - if you can get a mini microwave...that would make it absolutely incredible...
Overall we loved our stay at 2Hyde Park. We have recommended 2HydePark to few of our friends who are planning a London trip. Sure, we will stay again.

Mr. Lawson: 
First, may I address some business that has very recently come up.  I received my American Express bill about 10 days ago, and found that I had been charged for the key - 20 GBP.  I remember when I checked out that the itemized bill showed the key deposit in the charge column and then in the credit column.  However, I have two receipts:  one for the bill, and another or the key deposit.  I don't believe that I should have been charged for the key.  If you need any additional information, please let me know.
Now, to the pleasure, for it was certainly a pleasure to stay at 2 Hyde Park Square.  I found you through your website.  I was impressed by the comments of past visitors, your rates were very reasonable, and it's an excellent location.  So, I was happy that not only did the Hotel meet my expectations, but far exceeded them.  Thank you so much for the complimentary room upgrade.  I've rented short-term apartments in Paris and Sorrento, Italy, and this was by far the nicest in every amenity.  Amongst all the good things about the studio I have to admit that I was impressed by the central heating in the room -- for two Californians coming to London in January that's an important point.  One minor point:  the light above the bathroom mirror didn't work.  We reported it Friday morning, and it wasn't repaired until sometime Saturday afternoon.
We interacted mostly with Mahamoud (spelling?) and Victor, and they were welcoming, always friendly, and helpful.  Sean was also most helpful and again very friendly and warm.  In general, there was a warmth generated by the entire staff that I don't think can be manufactured.  I was travelling with a friend who had never been to London.  She so liked 2 Hyde Park Square that she made reservations while there for when she returns with her daughter in about 2 weeks (Maxine Wyman). When I come to London, which recently seems to be every year, I stay with friends.  It's nice to think that if on my next visit, I can't stay with friends, I definitely feel as if I have another home in London.

General Comment:
I enjoyed my stay at 2 Hyde Park Square very much.  I found the accommodation very comfortable, clean, and ideally located.  You and your staff were exceptional hosts and couldn't have asked for a more friendly place to stay while in London.
Suggestions: You might consider placing a computer's) with internet access in the lobby/lounge area for use by the guests.  I have stayed at a number of hotels that provide such service, and I found it very useful for receiving email and locating things in the city in which I am visiting, especially on those occasions where I was unable to bring my own computer.

Everything about our stay was top-shelf.  The room was very spacious and housekeeping did a fantastic job.  2 Hyde Park Square is in an extremely convenient location so getting to the tourist spots was a short  and easy trip.  I will highly recommend your hotel to anyone planning a trip to London.

Dear Lawson,
The apartments were very enjoyable. I was led to believe that the apartment contained 3 double beds and a sofa bed, which was a  disappointment.
Also your lack of door cards was a let down. We were having to arrange to meet to get back into the apartment which made things difficult. To add further to the annoyance, when i asked for an additional two cards for the room, your member of staff only gave me one and told me i was not entitled to another.
Considering the cost of the accommodation, i find it ridiculous that a 10cent card was not available. In the end i had to have a stand up argument with
member of your staff to obtain another card. This alone has put me off coming back, I go away on holiday (vacation) and expect to be independent with a door key, I am not 6 years old!

Our stay was most enjoyable. The position was perfect and the facilities were more than adequate. The highest marks go to Victor he was sensational at making us feel comfortable and ensuring there was nothing else we needed. don't lose him!). The hints we got re supermarkets and transport from reception were also much appreciated. These things are more important to us than what type of carpet you have. not that I think yours were not up to scratch!) One suggestion would be to provide or hire a stroller for families with young children who didn't want the hassle of including one in their luggage. Will certainly recommend you and if we are lucky enough to return to London will certainly book again.

Our stay was very good, we had a warm welcome and the car parking space was available for us. The room was a little smaller that we expected but very clean and had plenty of bedding as we had a cot plus extra bed

Our recent stay at your apartment was wonderful and we would like to thank you for the complimentary upgrade from Standard Studio to the Superior Studio. However it was unfortunate that upon our return from Nottingham on 28th August, there was no available unit for us and we had to find an alternative accommodation for another 3 nights.
We have stayed twice at your apartment, the first being in June 2001 and we will definitely choose your apartment again whenever we visit London in future. Dear Mr. Lawson,
I should be delighted to comment on our recent stay at 2 Hyde Park Square.  As always the welcome was extremely warm and the service impeccable.  The front desk and the porters always do you proud, and many of the personnel we have know since our very first visit.  It is a delight to see them again.
We were very pleased with our studio on the recently renovated sixth floor, and felt that the standard of accommodation had been enhanced by the changes you had made to the dimensions, fittings and furnishings, not least in both kitchen and bathroom.  The provision of both fixed ceiling and mobile fans was a definite improvement, as the only drawback to some previous visits is the degree of heat that can build up in the apartments, especially in the Summer.  But this no longer will be a problem The cleaning was excellent; discreet and highly efficient.
All of our requests were perfectly handled.  We have no criticisms at all.  As for suggestions, we did notice that our friends who stayed for one night in a very nice one bedroom apartment on the third floor had a VCR and a CD player in their room.  Perhaps you should provide these in all of the apartments, or indicate that they can be laid on by request.  In our case we were too busy this time to need either, but on a future visit one or both could well be appreciated, and it would be good to know that we could either book them in advance or that every apartment would be equipped with them .I hope that helps. We very much look forward to our next visit.

I had a very nice stay at 2 Hyde Park! I really appreciated the warm reception and outstanding customer service. You have a great staff there that really goes the extra mile to make a guest feel welcome. I felt really at home. I plan to return there in the Spring. The only strange thing to me is that there are no electrical plugs in the bathroom! That must have something to do with domestic laws. I had to fix my hair in the kitchen! The neighbours were a little noisy, but as soon as I put in a call to the front desk, it was taken care of! I had problems with my credit card...the government closed my account without telling me! Your staff worked very hard to help me sort out this problem. I really appreciated their patience and accommodation. If they had not been calm, I might have panicked...I was running late for my flight! It all worked out and I appreciate everything. Very good job on a very well run establishment. I have recommended 2 Hyde Park to many of my colleagues! I look forward to seeing you all there in April!
